The manager is so rude! He told me off because I purchased stamps online instead of in his store! What is wrong with this guy?
Two of this fine establishments employees, Douglas Balfour and Stuart Milne, have provided me with impeccable assistance and companionship throughout my post office experience. As a post office connoisseur I can smell a good post office when I see one and boy were my nasal cavities tingling. Best flump Ive had in years, would go back 100 times over. The milk was clearly fresh from the farm as it was almost as if the udders themselves were in my mouth. The crisp packets were arranged in perfect alphabetical order which really buttered my eggrolls (more like their egg rolls, theyre brilliant, but that review is for another time). Might I also add that the fine gentlemens attire was always in crisp condition and were never short of a high top or two. In conclusion, two top lads, service with a smile and a great variety of envelopes displayed to the letter to go with it.
Terrible service from rude and unhelpful counter staff. Was told they do not accepted stamped items where stamps not purchased in store and that they are paid by Post Office on commission basis, therefore if stamps are not bought from them, they get no money despite having to provide a service. I advised the commercial arrangements between Post Office and them is not my concern and that I had purchased stamps at Clarkston PO should be able to post my letters. I was asked to buy stamps from them or leave the shop and to go to another PO. I do have some sympathy with the owner, (he has dedicated area of shop for PO, pays PO staff etc. and if he does not sell he is providing service at a loss etc.) but he needs to take that up with the Post Office and negotiate different T&C's. Will not use this PO again. Staff at RS McColl in Newton Mearns PO and Giffnock PO could not be more helpful, (probably something to do with fact they may be salaried by PO). I would not want to see Netherlee PO close but something needs to be done.
Rude and aggressive owner. Popped in to post a parcel which I had already stamped using online service and needed to post/get proof. Was told I should have bought postage from him. Then shouted at and told that local post offices are closing because of people like me and where would I go when that happened. I was so taken aback I said "I'm sorry - would you like me to take it somewhere else?" He said yes and threw parcel back at me. I might have taken his advice and bought from shop next time but there will be no next time. Complaint submitted to post office. Extremely rude.
Watch your change more fiddling than at at barn dance . Pensioners take care when using this shady business which effectively represents the post office
