The food was lovely haven't been for a while though it's a shame a few of the staff aren't that friendly feel like a bother to them, the gentleman owner seemed very nice, would recommend the food though I always enjoyed my dishes they have such a variety of lovely cakes too.
A great menu, friendly service and brilliant food make this a nice wee place that I've visited quite a few times for breakfast and lunch. They also have a good take-away selection as well as the sit-in option for grab and go.My only reservation is that can be just a shade pricy, with a lunchtime salad coming in around 9.50 (Jan 2019).Having said that, breakfast of eggs on toast or bacon buttie is only a fiver (served all day). Altogether a much more relaxed and complete option than the chain eateries a few doors down.

Had an excellent burger from here on Bank Holiday Monday. Unlike most (all) other restaurants nearby which were closed, Eat was open. Great condiments too and a decent beer range.
